- “Morgan Stanley Says 47 GW Of US Coal Capacity Could Be Uneconomic By 2024” • Investment bank Morgan Stanley published a report claiming that nearly 50 GW of US coal-fired power capacity will be unable to compete against renewables by 2024. - “Wide Bay’s Energy Infrastructure Boom” • The Queensland Government has granted development approval for one of the largest grid-connected wind farms in the southern hemisphere, Forest Wind.
